AltroGuard wall and ceiling coating systems offer you the cost-effective
protection you need in environments where hygiene is of paramount
importance. Depending on the level of protection your walls need,
you can build from a flexible base coat to a tough acrylic or
polyurethane top coat. Durable and easy to maintain, the coatings
contain Altrosan, an integral biocide that helps to keep the surface
in a sterile condition.Cured coatings can withstand temperatures
in the range of -50°C to +80°C. AltroGuard systems include the
following components:
AltroGuard Bioclean A biocidal wash (EN certified) for
cleaning and decontaminating surfaces prior to application of
coatings and for cleaning coated surfaces during their lifetime.
AltroGuard Flexibase
A flexible base coat, which permits some substrate movement without
cracking. This also allows some bridging of existing hairline
cracks.
AltroGuard Acrylicoat
An acrylic top coat to produce a tough, elastic and mark-resistant
surface.For general purpose use and is applied over the base coat
as a two or three coat application. It can also be used as a stand
alone finish on sound existing surfaces, in less demanding environments.
AltroGuard Polyucoat
A PU top coat for a very tough but flexible film with very good
resistance to scratching, impacts and chemicals.
AltroGuard Consolidating Primer
For applications to porous and friable/dusty surfaces. It is a
single part primer which can be spray or roller applied.
AltroGuard Tile Primer
For use on non porous areas such as glazed ceramic tiles, high
gloss painted surfaces etc. It is a two part, water based, epoxy
resin coating, best applied by brush or roller.
Accessories
Lightweight glass fibre scrim for a smooth finish when used on
cracked or damaged surfaces. For Bridging cracks, use a proprietary
sealant such as AltroMastic 100.
In heavy duty areas prone to impact damage, AltroGuard wall
coating systems can be used in conjunction with interior protection
products such as those from the Gradus InPro range. Alternatively,
AltroWhiterock hygienic PVC wall cladding.
